We collect Personal Data that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Websites, Extension, or the Platform, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you use the Services, or when you otherwise contact us. We may also collect information from third-party search engines such as Google and Bing relating to your search activity. If we do obtain your Personal Data from a third party, your privacy rights under this Privacy Policy are not affected and you are still able to exercise your rights.
c. The Personal Data we collect through your use of the Platform and Services:
With respect to use of our Platform and Services, this Personal Data may include the business email address you use to log in to the Services, and other device and usage information, including your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information such as traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data and the resources that you access. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

a. Handling your email data: Autopest interacts with the emails you share and your email service provider (Google Mail and Microsoft Outlook) in the following ways:
As part of the above process, Autopest stores the original email you send to us to initiate the Autopest process as well as the email addresses of the recipients of that email, a unique ID for that email as assigned by your email service provider, and your automatically generated follow-up emails. This is the only data from your email Autopest stores. The only interactions Autopest has with your email service provider are for identifying if a response to your email was detected or to send messages you have approved. Autopest has no other interactions with your email account or provider, and nobody at Autopest is authorized to independently access or otherwise handle any Customer Data shared with Autopest.
b. Google API Services: For email accounts associated with Google, Autopest uses Google API Services. Autopest's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We only share and disclose your Personal Data in the following circumstances:
The security of your Personal Data is very important to us. We have implemented industry-standard technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any Personal Data we collect and process (both during transmission and once we receive it), as well as to prevent unlawful access and accidental loss or damage. We also routinely verify that our employees are aware of and compliant with their data privacy and security obligations.
Of course, the security of your Personal Data also depends on you; where you have credentials for access to certain parts of our Websites, Platform or Services, you are responsible for keeping such credentials confidential. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of data that is electronically stored or transmitted over the internet, and there is no guarantee that data may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards. a. Unsubscribing: Emails we send you include tracking whether the user has opened and clicked on the email, and what traffic the email sends our site. If you want to ensure that none of your email activity is tracked, then you should opt out of Autopest's emails which you can do on any unsubscribe or email settings link contained within that email.
b. Controls for Do-Not-Track features: Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.
Pages on our website might contain social buttons. These enable users to share or bookmark the blog post or pages. There are buttons for: Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and a number of other social media services provided by the ‘sharethis’ service. In order to implement these buttons, and connect them to the relevant social networks and external sites, there are scripts from domains outside of Autopest. If you click on these buttons, those third-party companies will be registering the information.
We may publish customer testimonials and quotes on our site or in other marketing materials, which may contain some Personal Data. Prior to publication, Autopest obtains consent from each customer and the featured individuals. These customers and individuals may withdraw their consent at any time. If you are featured in a customer testimonial or quote and wish to withdraw your consent, please send an email with your request to your Customer Success contact or to [email protected].
Our headquarters is located in the United States. Our servers may be located elsewhere as needed to devlier an optimal usage experience. By providing us with your Personal Data or otherwise engaging with us through our Websites, Extension, Platform or Services, your Personal Data may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us in our server locations, or to our affiliates elsewhere in the world, and by those third parties with whom we may share your Personal Data as described above.
Regardless of where it is processed or stored, we take all necessary measures designed to protect the privacy and security of your Personal Data according to this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law and regulations. For the purposes of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation), we are a data processor with respect to the Personal Data our customers choose to upload to the Services, and we are a data controller with respect to all other Personal Data that we collect as described in this Privacy Policy. Where required by laws, we have taken the necessary steps to implement the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of Personal Data between our group companies, between us and applicable third-party vendors, consultants and service providers, and between us and applicable customers. When we no longer have a legitimate business need to process your Personal Data, the ground on which we were relying to process your Personal Data no longer applies, or you request deletion of your Personal Data, we will either delete or anonymize your Personal Data. If this is not possible (for example, because your Personal Data is stored in back-up archives), we will securely store your Personal Data and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to anyone under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.
